- Weekday: ICU coverage, three hours every other week

- Journal Club: Eight resident-led journal club discussions throughout the year
- Research projects (flipped model)
- Formulary projects (medication use evaluation plus drug class review, monograph, clinical guideline or protocol)
- Teaching opportunities:
- Teaching certificate
- Precepting opportunities (Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience [APPE] students and PGY1 residents)
- Didactic lectures to advanced practitioner students
- Certification opportunities such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Emergency Neurological Life Support (ENLS)

PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy Residency Outcomes and Placement Success
Our program has developed residency graduates who have obtained positions as faculty members at colleges of pharmacy, clinical specialists at large academic medical centers, as well as leadership and administrator positions at health care institutions nationwide.
PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy Residency Application Requirements
- Candidates must be PharmD graduates of an accredited college of pharmacy
- Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 pharmacy residency
- Be eligible for Massachusetts licensure, with successful completion of North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination (NAPLEX) and Multistate Pharmacy Jurisprudence Examination (MPJE) by October 29
- Candidates must be U.S. citizens or permanent U.S. residents
