It is the policy of UMass Memorial Health (“UMMH”) to offer free or discounted care to patients with demonstrated financial need for medically necessary, urgent or emergency care at all locations of the following hospitals: 

  • UMass Memorial Medical Center
  • UMass Memorial Health – HealthAlliance-Clinton Hospital
  • UMass Memorial Health – Harrington
  • UMass Memorial Health – Milford Regional

Andrew Karson, MD, MPH, is Chief Physician Executive at UMass Memorial Health and President of UMass Memorial Medical Group, (which consists of 3,600 employees, including 2,200 physicians and advanced practice providers).
